March 24: Mr. D. Hankinson haa resigned hia seat in the A-sembly. The sale ot the cargo and hull of the ' Hera' took place to-day. Mr. Blick and Mr. Johnston (of Levin and Co.), of Wellington, were the competing parties, and Mr. JBlick became the purchaser at £1,460; the other parties gelling. The official inquiry was continuod to-day, but nothing transpired to show the cause of the fire. The inquiry was adjourned till Tuesday next.
