A full meeting of th« direotow of tw» company took place yesterday, aud a letter of condolence was sent to the relict of the late legal manager, Captain Masaey. The accounts of the company were audited, and showed most favourably, being only * te\r pounds in arrear, which' is considerably covered by outstanding call.. The report of the mining manager was also read, and ttie sugg^S for a crosscut to catch the mam refCfrom which' such good returns have been obtained was' ordered tone earned into effect. -Mr. B, M. Mitchell was elected legal manager. J
