The prospectors up the Mata Creek are still meeting with sufficient inducement to look out for gold-bearing reefs, as several very good fiuls have lately been found in the creek. The Hope Claim is again fully manned, and it is expected that in about three veeks' time the machinery will be in active operation. Rattray'a machine has jus 1 } finished a payable crushing for the Golden Spur, and commences to-day on a lot of about a hundred tons for the Full Moon, aftar which a crushing of a similar quantity will take place for the Golden Spur,
