AMUSEMENTS.
The Prince of Wales Theatre wag crammed in all parts of the house last night. The performance commenced with "The Little Treasure," Mr. J. L. Hall taking the part of Captain Walter Maydenbluah, and Mrs. J. L. Hall the -oart of Gertrude, The burlesque of " Kenilworth" followed, in which three amateur dramatists of the Flying Squadron took part. Of the scenery one especially calls for remark — that showing our harbotir with the anchored Squadron in full view ; the beholder supposed to be looking from the Thames Hotel. At the conclusion a shower of bouquets greeted the chief actors and actresses engaged. Although two new and attractive pieces were placed upon thejboarda at the Duke of Edinburgh Theatre, there was not a verylarge audience. , The first piece. impersonated' was -' ; Irelaad as r it is," the character of ™c play taken r by Madame Marie Durefe., -Mr* Q^Brien. and Mr. W.;H;;!Newton> executed their respective parts witih goOd< effect. , Thenautica! drama of.
