He has declared, with ofcner landholders of the district, that he does not intend waiting for Te Hira to give his ■anotion to th« throwing open of Ohiuemuri, but will throw open ti&eir portion of the laud at once. Te Hira wuhes to hear first what th« Governor and Mr. Mo Lean hare to say about the matter before anything definite is doc*."
