At Mr. Sibbin'i auction sale the following are some of the prices obtained : — Oranges, 9d to lOd per doz-in ; potatoes, os 6d per cwt. ; maize, 4s 6d to 4a 9d per buahel; nee, 2d per lb. ; tea, 25s per box ; bacon, 9d per lb. ; hams, lOd par lb.; caudles, It ; butter, Is. The following is Mr. Vaile's report of his sale to-day :— Bo jt elastic, 3i 8d per yard; kerosine lamps, from Is 31 to 3* 31; machine twist silk, 48j per lb. Furniture not in demand.
