ST. PATRICK'S SOCIETY.
A meeting of the same members was held immediately after the meeting of the Idsh Patriot Tribute Committee for the purpose of considering the advisability of forming a Sr. Patrick's Society. Mr. Quia occupied the chair, aud proposed that the members of the committee form themselves into a Society, arid that all futiue action with leference to the Irish Patiiot Tribute be left in the hr.uds of the Society. Aflei* some discussion the motion was adopted. — On the motion of Mr. Griffin, it was re-olved that Nome place other tliau a public-house should be selected for the meetings of the Society as toon aa possible. — Mr. Power propose*! that the subscription to the St. Patrick's Society be at the rafcp of one t-hilhng per week, payable Monthly in advance, commencing fivm the Ist of August, and that some metnben bo requested to communicate with the parent branches at Sydney and iMbourne. — The motion was seconded aud cat tied, and most of those piesent entered their names as members of the Society. — Advertiser, July 28.
