Business in the Bbare market on Saturday was Inactive, and f«w buyers offered. The quotations, however, for scrip iv leading claims fluctuated but little, holders being firm. Mr. Sholl reports having made the following 8a leg :— Two Long Drive shares, £200, cum rfiv.; Golden Crown Extended, £16 ; Pukehmau, £1 10s ; All Nations, £20 ; Braganza, 10a ; Duke of Magenta, quarter equal, £200. Shares are offered it tha Pride of Erin at 10s ; Castle aud Galatea, £10; a quarter in the North. Devon, £350 ; half share in the Princess Aiice, £180 ; half in the Deßance, £200 j El Dorado Company's shares. £Q. Messrs. Breton and Hull sold to-day Thames GoldMining Company's at £25 ; Burekns, £3 5s ; DayBpring, 10s. They also report Young American Gold- Mining Company, £5 ; half equal share iv Jupiter held for £300 j Braganza inquiie«l for ; Castle and Galatea tirm at £10 ; Kellys, £9. Mr. John C. Sextie sold Kellys at £9 ; AU Nations, £21 ; Alburnia, £10 10s j Sea Lion, £3 10s ; quarter equal in Diggers' Friend, £50. Matakana ore quoted at 9* ; Pukehinau, £2 ; Shotover, £10 } Auckland Independent, £2 10s j aud could quote lower prices for larger parcels.
