THE NEW ZEALAND AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY'S ANNUAL CATTLE SHOW will be HELD at the REMUERA SALEYARDS, on TUESDAY, 20th October next, when Prizes will be awarded to, the best animal* exhibited in the following clasiea :— HORSES. Pens will be set apart for extra stock, and prizes will be awarded if deemed of sufficient merit. A Sheep-shearing Match will take place on the same day, for the following prizes :—: — Ist Class ; Men— lst prize, £3 j 2nd prize, £1 ; 3rd prize, 10s. 6d. 2nd Class ; Boys — Ist prize, £1 Is.; 2nd prize, 10s. 6d. ENTBANOH TJSIS : Horses per head 53. Od. Cattle per head 2s. 6d. Sheep P« Pen 2s. Od. Swine per head 2s. Od. All entries to be addressed to the Secretary, and left at Mr. A. Buckland's, Haymarket, or at the Post-office, Otahuhu, not later than 4 o'clock p.m. This Day (Saturday). Tickets of Admission for the Stock will be given to Exhibitors on the payment of the Entrance Fee to the Secretary, and no Stock will be admitted without such ticket. Stock of subscribers to the Cattle Show, to the amount of £1 Is., will be admitted free of charge. Stock will be received on the ground on the morning of the Show, until 9.30 a.m., after which no Stock will be admitted. All Horses and Stock to be led. No Stock to be removed from the Show yards before 4 p.m. Stock exhibited will be taken care of until next morning, but no responsibility incurred. Stewards to cause any sheep to be shorn at the request of the Judges. The sheep-shearing will commence at 2.30 ; time allowed, 40 minutes.
