The Buffalo Courier of July 16th says ;— "One of the Courier reporters learned at Navy Island a few particulars of the loss of two men, over Niagara Fallp on,Suuday evening. As th«y did not rejturn home on Sunday, evening, inquiry wajs made, and, their absence being continued, it was surmised ihtt they had been swept over tbe Fallii. It is thought tjhey Qiu.st have broken au oar or a rowlock, and their t-kill was not sufficient-, in their ciippled condniOD, to keep out <jf the rapids. It is terrible to think of them making that terrible plunge iv the ni^bt, with none to hear their cries." '
