THE LATE FATAL ACCIDENT AT TAPU CREEK.
THKboay of the late Mr. "Wilson, who lost biahfe at Tapu Creek on Monday last, wu yesterday afternoon brought up to town in the steamer 'Halcyon.' Mr. O'Donnell, a friend of deceased, had charge of the body and accompanied it to town. At the inquest held on Tuesday, before Alan Baillie, £>q. (who came from Shortland especially for the ocoasion), and a jury of miners and storekeepers, » verdict was returned that deceased died from apoplexy. > The funeral will leave Mr* Hidings'* auction mart, Oaeen-streeti at three o'clock this afternoon.
