GRAMMAR SCHOOL APPROPRIATION ACT, 1868.
1. The Aot intituled "An Act to appropriate the Grammar School Trust Funds " (Session XXIT., No. 8) is hereby repealed. 2. By and with the advice of the Board of Commissioners hereinafter appointed the Superintendent may issue and apply a sum not exceeding the sum of £1,304 for the purpose of establishing and maintaining in the province of Auckland a Grammar School in pursuance of the terms upon ■vrhicb. such lands were granted. 3. The Board aforesaid shall consist of the Superintendent and the Executive Council for the time being. 4. The said Board shall have full power to make rules and regulations for the conduct and management of the said Grammar School and the right to appoint all masters and servants requisite for the maintenance of the same. 5. The course Of education shall he purely secular and any member of the Board shall be at liberty to visit the school when he shall think fit.|
