REVISION COURT.

A sitting of the Revision Court was held on Monday by Mr. L. O'Brien, Revising Officer, for the pupose of revising the roll for the electoral district of Franklin. , All the objections received, which were published in our issue of May 9, were allowed, and the following applications rejected from the causes stated:—Robert Ellis, Tauranga, claim not attested; James Starmouth, Te Papa, insufficient description; Thomas Edwards, Te Papa, insufficient description ; Charles Young, Te Papa, insufficient description ; James Beaton, Te Papa, insuflicient description; James Young, Tauranga, insufficient description; George T. Davoren, Te Papa, insufficient description. The undermentioned applications were disallowed in consequence of the attesting witness not being a registration officer, elector of the district, or Justice of the Peace:—John Bowman, Remnera; John Spurling, Te Papa ; Walter Newton Allen, Te Papa; Samuel Chaplin, TePapa; Albert Tyssen Corn, Te Papa; Joseph Howard, Tauranga ; Stephen Martin, Tauranga; LaurenceMcGovern, Tauranga; Cnnstopher Ross Leighton, Tauranga ; Robert Niokle, Tauranga : Joseph Ransley, Tauranga; Finlay MacMillan, Matakana. The sittings of the Court were continued yesterday, when all the objections to persons on the roll for the eleotoral districts of Pensioners Settlements and town of Onehnnga, as published in our issue of the 11th inst., were allowed, with the exception of that of Mr. David Graham, for the town of Onehunga, whose place of residence having been erroneously described in the list of objections, his name was allowed to stand. The following names were added to the roll:—For Pensioners SettlementsJohn Charles Irvine, Howick; Ralph Keesmer, Emily Place, Auckland, freehold allotment at Otahuhu; William Sutherland, Otahuhu. For town of Onehunga—William Balmer, Barrack-street, freehold allotment in Hill-street; Robert Espie, Green-hill Road; " Thomas Riss Gilman, Queenstreet; James Reuben Haslip, Onehunga ; Thomas Holmes, Queen-street; Robert Henry Power, Selwyn-street; — Wilson, Onehunga; Peter Simpson, Onehunga; George Staines, WeUesley-street, Auckland, two allotments in Onehunga; John Tabb, Queen-street; Thomas Waters, ParnelL six allotments in Onehunga; Thomas Wills, Church-street.
