Scoured brought 14d to 16Jd; fleece, 7£d to 13£ d ; greasy, 3£d to 7£<i ; sheepskins were in improved demand, and brought from 3£d to 6d ; pelts, If dto 3d. The sale of the horses and carriages used by H. H.H. the Duke of E linburgh during his recent visit to the colony attracted an unusually large attendance at the yards of Mr. Buchan Thomson this afternoon. One pair of the Prince's greys were bought by Mr. Gilchrist at £107, the second pair by Mr. Vickery for £74 ; harness £50, Mr. Smith purchaser; four-wheel drag, £75, Mr. H. C. Dangar purchaser ; grey saddle-horse, £40 ; chesnut ditto, £41 ; grey ditto, £21 ; bay ditto, £24 103. The state carriage and team of six horses were purchased at £467 for his Excellency the Governor, aid the harness for £46, by Mr. S. D. Gordon.
