' Oat*, :3« 9d ; rye-grass seed, 4s 3d to- 5s 3d j cocksfoot, seed 7* 6d to 10a the bushel. < L i Many horses were told, but tha prices Wera low and the bidding without animation, excepting for young compact draught horses ; those were in request, and brought from £14 10s to £25 each. On Tuesday, very few stock were offered at the Triangle. - Ihe ewe lambs brought 15s each. . , On Wednesday, at Papakura, there was a large muster of cattle, and a very numerous attendance ; prices were well sustained throughout, and all cattle offered were soldi The sheep were withdrawn. ) At Remuera on Tuesday there were , not' many dairy -or store cattle ' penned. Fat cattle w«re in usual supply. Fat cattle of all descriptions sold at better prices than for the past month ; the demand for the Thames goldfield is considerably increasing, and young oattle in large numbers are being purchased for the Waikato. . ' In the sheep market, a few pens of stores and about the usual supply of fat shee|> were 6ffered ; prices were lower than last week, particularly for lambs, , which offered relatively in large numbers. HUNTfIB >ND CO.*S EIfORT. •'' On Saturday last there were 54 hones entered for sale, out of which 41 were sold; One thoroughbred mare sold for £26 j draught-horses are selling better than of late ; some good hacks sold from £8 to £9. On Monday last ' there was a large number of cattle in j store cattle are .father dull of sale ; two-year* old steers, from £4 2s 6d to £5 5s j three-year-old steers from £5 5s to £7 ; two-year-old heifers from £3 17s 6d to £5 ; yearlings from £2 10s to £3 3s ; calves from £1 lls to £2 3s ; working bullbcks from £8 17s 6d to £10 6s ; dry cows from £3 15s to £6 each ; dairy cows from £8 10s to £12 each; fat: oattle were plentiful, and sold from 80s to 355! per 1001b. ' < Sheep Market : There was a large number of sheep and lambs ; half-breds, from 16s to 265 ; laijabs, from 12s 6d to 14s 9d. Some Southdown ewes sold for 35s each; some Southdown ewe-hoggets 25s each ; a few half-bred ewes sold . for 15s 6d •ach. Fig Market ; All in were sold at good prices. Otahuhu Sale : There were very few cattle; all in were sold. Papakura Market : There were about 90 head of cattle, chiefly young stock ; nearly all were sold. Dairy cows sold well at from £9 to £12; two-year-old steers from £3 17a 6d to £5 12s 6d ; yearlfngs from £2 7s 6d to £3; calves from £1 15s to £2 ; two-year-old heifers from £4 to £6 each. Some fat sheep sold for 16s each. Some pigs sold at fully Newmarket rates. , '
