IN pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled "The Regulation of Elections Act, 1858," I, Harcotjrt Richard Aubrey, Esquire, Returning Officer for the Electoral Distriot of Marsden, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the fourth day of November, 1867, issued under the hand of his Honor the Superintendent of the province of Auckland, an ELECTION will be held for the return of a qualified person to serve as a MEMBER of ,the PROVINCIAL COUNCIL of Auckland for the v s»id Electoral District; and that tbe NOMINATION of Candidates will take place at the Native Schoolhouse, in the Township of Whangarei, on WEDNESDAY, the fourth day of December, 1867, at twelve o'clock noon ; and that the P< >LL (if necesiary) will be taken on FRIDAY, the thirteenth day of December, 1867- . , a Dated at Whangarei Heads this ninth day of November, 1867.
