PANAMA.
The charter of the Panama Railway Company has been extended for 99 years. The long-talked-of line of steamers between Europe and the South Pacific Coast, vit\ the Straits of Magellan, it would seem is likely soon to be established by the Pacific SteatnNavigation Company, as the Company has been authorised to increase its capital for the purpose, and they have besides obtained a large subvention from the Chilian Government.
