Mr. C. Stichbury held a sale of drapery, clothing, &c, to-day, at his stores, Queen-street. The sale waa largely attended, and the following quotations were realised :— Scotch sheeting, 6£d per yard ; brown holland, 2^d per yard ; fancy blue prints, Ids per piece ; grey calico, 5\A per yard ; moleskin trousers, 6s 6d per pair ; tweed trousers, 8s per pair ; dress stuff, 6£d ; shepherd's check, 8d per yard ; glace braid, 9d ; courier bags, 4s each ; crape falls, 4s ; worsted hose, 10s per doz. ; half-hose, 8s per doz. Messrs. Bright and Co. held a sale of drapery, Ac., to-day, at their mart, Queen-street. The attendance was numerous, and the prices realised were satisfactory. Mr. L, W. Eaton held a sale of sawn timber (second quality) on Custom-house-street to-day, and realised from 3s 6d to 4s 6d per 100 feet.' The properties adTertised to be sold to-day by Mr. Gr. Sibbin were withdrawn at the upset price.
