DISSOLVED BONES, OR SUPERPHOSPHATE OF LIME.
30 Tons are Now Landing ex ' Mary Shepherd,' from one of the best Scotch manufactures, containing, by Dr. Andersons (F.R.S.) analysis, 2910 per cent, solvable phosphates, with 14 per cent, of ammonia. The value of this Manure for creating a rapid growth, and being obnoxious to the insect world, is too well known to require remark.
MALDEN ISLAND GUANO. 50 Tons, ex ' Hercules,' a direct importation, best known as Phospho-Guano ; is said to have been used with much success in the other colonies. A copy of an article setting forth at length its virtues, from the local journals, can be obtained on application. It likewise, from its large percentage of soluble phosphates, appears to warrant the conclusion that it is most valuable. BOLIVIAN GUANO Has been found to answer remarkably. A cargo is Bhortly^expected per ' Waverley.' BONEDUST, From long and successful use, has justly earned the first place in the farmer's mind. It is the ambition of the undersigned to furnish the m with a genuine, unadulterated article, and at the lowest rate possible. Fifty tons are landing ex 'Kate,' of their usual quality, guaranteed free from foreign substances. W. J. HURST & CO., Queen-street, Opposite T. and S.
