The Customs receipts to-day amounted to £656 10a 7d. Messrs. Jones and Co. held a sale of groceries, &c, to-day, at the stores of Messrs. Brown, Campbell, and Co., O'Connell-street, and obtained the following prices : — Congou tea (half-chests), from Is 4d to lslOdper lb.; ditto (chests), Is lOdperlb.; Belmont candles, 12£dtol3dper lb.; Hales's candles (full weights), 12£ d per lb. Mr. C. Stichbury sold to-day, at his stores, Queenstreet, all that parcel of land, containing by admeasurement 46 acres, situate in the parish of Kopuru, county of Hobson, being allotment No. 10, with all the buildings and machinery erected thereon, for £550. Lots 5 and 6of section No. 1 of subdivision into lots, bounded on the north by the Waitemata river, on the east by lot No. 4 of section No. 1, 270 feet ; on the south by a street, 132 feet ; and on the west by lot No. 7 of said section, 201 feet, suburb! of Auckland, for £29. Lot No. 12, having a frontage to Russell-street, 92 feet 6 inches ; and to Wood-street, 34 feet 10 inches, suburbs of Auckland, for £20 10s. Also, two allotments in Centre-street, Freeman's Bay, for £70. Mr. L, W. Eaton sold a yacht to-day, about 4 tons burden, with sails and rigging complete, for £11 15s.
