AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKET. [Report for the week ending April 19.]

MR. BUOKLAND'S EEPOBT. At the Haymarket, on Saturday last, fodder was la usual supply, with an improved demand ; and higher ratei ruled than hitherto this season. Maiae brought ss. and Ss. 3d.; oats, from Ss. 6d. to 45.; bran, Is. the bnsheL Horse stock was very dull, unless choice animals. Good draught horses brought from £14 to £20, and a very choice young animal £30. Hone stock of a light description were at nominal prices. The sale at Mr. James Macky*s was numerously attended. The dairy cattle brought from £11 to £16 ; draught horses, from £16 to £21 each. The sale of dairy stock at Mr. Goodfellow's, Onehunga, was very fully attended, and large prices obtained. Best cows brought from £16 to £18 ; cows, from £8 to £14 each. Fat cattle have during the week offered plentifully, and met with a free sale, averaging about SBs. the 1001b. Store cattle, if in forward condition, are in request; but, if in low condition, are almost unsaleable. Calves and yearlings an in request, at full prices. Fatsheep marketfairly supplied, with •took of good quality; best long-wools bringing from 80s. to 365.; merinoes, 18s. and 18s. 6d, each ; store merino wethers, 10s. 6d. and 11s.; Sown ewes in lamb, 82». each. Figs were offered in large numbers ; those well fatted brought about fid. the lb., but store and young pigs sold at very low rates.

Store cattle were icarce in the market, and pricei about the tame as lait week's rates. Then was a good demand for first-class dairy cows, and prices were satisfactoiy. The sheep market was fairly supplied, and prices were good for prime qualities ; medium qualities were dull of sale. Otahuho Sali.— The market was well supplied with store cattle from Brisbane ; prices wart low ; heifers, £3 2i. 6d. to £4 ; steers, £6 7s. fld. ; calves, £1 Is. 3d, Homi Sau.— On Saturday) last ihe market was well sup?pued, but mostly of animals of an inferior description.
