On Saturday laßt Mr. John Stuart sold, as follows, tbe wreck of the ship ' Montmorencj': —The hull, with gear, rigging, condensing apparatus, anchor!, chains, &c, £110 ; the cargo on board eaid frhip,£lO5 ; anchors and chains in roadstead, £10; 2 lifeboats, £18 and £19; 2 boats, £5 and £12 10s ; odd lots—flags, Ac. £12 Is ; 18 water tanks, 34s to £4. Total realised, £346 lla. Mr. Maltby was the purchaser of the two first-named lots. —Hawicfs Bay Herald, April 2.
