J. Edmonds, agent. Arrival ot tot Schooner Meteor. — The schooper Meteor. Captain William Jones, arrived on Saturday morning from Napier vifl. the Fast Coast, in ballast.. ' Mie reports having left Napier on the 15th ultimo for Potae, Poverty Bay. with 150 sheep. Landed cargo there, and left for Waiapu, where she discharged 0,000 bricks (part of original cargo from Auckland). Left Waiapu for Auckland in ballast, and was in company with the following wind-bound vessels on Thursday last off Kawakawa namely: The sw Star of the South Bittern, Woodstock, and Eagle. Passed the schooner Kauri off Cape Runaway the same day, with her foremasthead earned away. The oatter Margaret arrived yesterday from Coromandel, with a cargo of sawn timber. The p.a. Enterprise No. 2, Captain Philpott. arrived on Saturday evening from Matakana and the Kawau, with a small cargo of settlers' produce and a number of passengers. She sails to-day for Mahurangi, returning to-morrow. The schooners Jubilee for Tairua mills, with sundries and five passengers, and the Industry for Wangaruru, with timber, &c, sailed on Saturday evening. The cutter Tay brought up a cargo of firewood fromJMatakana on Saturday evening. The schooner Tauranga, Captain cellars, sailed on Saturday evening for Tauranga, with a general cargo and seven passengers. The barque Island City, Captain Wolffe, sailed on Saturday afternoon for Port Curtis, Queensland, with 50 tops hay on board for the return trip with cattle. The schooner Hope, Captain Parker, sails this morning for Opotiki, with sundry merchandise and four passengers. The cutter Cordelia sailed on Saturday for Bosalie Bay, Great Barrier Island, with building materials and passengers. T The cutters Prince of Wales for Omaha ano! Maburangi Peter Cracroft for Wangapoa, and Waterlily for Omaha, sailed on Saturday night in ballast, with sundries. The, cutter Wanderer sailed on Saturday for Coromandel, with passengers. The schooner Neva sails for Tahiti and Rorotonga about the end of the week. The barque Constance will be taken off the Patent Slip in a few days—thoroughly overhauled. The Princess Alice is the next vessel for the slip. The Whitby sails for Opotiki to-day.
