CORRECTION.
To the Editor of the Daily SotttfHEßH Gross. Sir, — Tn your report of the case, Graham and Co. y. Turner, you are slightly in error in one or two instances. The sum I was sued for was ss. 2d. , not ss. 6d. ; and again in my father's evidence he did not say that the words "in full of all demands" were put in the receipt in his presence or at his suggestion, but that, at the time, he paid for me about £2,600 to Mr. D. Graham for the firm of Graham and Co. Mr. D. Graham pledged his word to him, Mr. B. E. Turner, that his firm had no further claim against his son, the present defendant ; and that when he, Mr. B. E. Turner, asked for a. receipt, Mr. Beveridge and his son, W. E. Turner, said they believed they could take Mr. Graham's ' 'word for it. " The rest of the evidence shows what that "word" was worth. — T am, &c, W. E. Tubnee. P.S. As soon as ) judgment is recorded in this case I will lay before the public some facts that are even more disgraceful than the cause of the present action.
