BODY FOUND AT COX'S CREEK.

A BODT was found at Cox's Creek yesteulay, with appearances which ; would seem to indi-ite that a murder had been committed. About four o'clock in the afternoon, while Mr. John Geddes and a friend were walking near the creek, they were informed by two boys who were herding cattle that a body was lying on the beach. On going to tbe placed, they found, lying at high-water maik, and as if it had been left by the then receding tide, the body of a boy of about seven years of age, quite naked. From the appearance, the body cannot have been in the water for more thau a day or two. Mr. Geddes states that there is a wound in the neck which might have been the cause of death. It is possible that the boy might have' been drowned while bathing, and that the wouud in the neck might have been caused by a rock, but no notice has been given at the Police-office that anyone is missing. The police- boat was despatched last night to recover the body, to have an inquest held.
