William Hearndon Was brought up on the charge of robbery from Captain Austin, on a remind from last Friday. In the absence of Mr. Wynu, Mr. Beveridge applied for an adjournment of the case till Wednesday, which was granted, Mr. MacCormick, who appeared for the prisoner, stating that he hoped the , case would then be disposed of.
ASSAULTING A BAILTM 1 . Margaret Mahoney was charged with auaalting a, bailiff, while ia the execution of bis duty. Thomas Bro'vn, assistant bailiff, deposed that on i W ednesday, the Bth, he went to the house of John ' | Mahoney, in Queen-street, to execute a, warrant of distress against his goods. The defendant, Mrs. Muhoney, struck witness in the eye with her hand. Afterwards, she several times attempted to strike witness, who held her hauds. Defendant then kicked witness and bit him. Her husband then came and took her away. Fined 405., or fourteen days 1 imprisonment.
ASSAULT. Anne Webb was charged with assaulting Thomas Pagan, by throwing a bottle at him. Mr. Davy appeared for the complainant, and Mr. J. B. Kussell fur the defendant. The prosecutoc depoied as to the circumstances, ,< and de endaut was ordered to find two sureties, in £10 each, to keep the peace for six months.
IMPOUNDING XCjf. Robert Morgan, Johu Thompson, William Walters, and James McG»th were fined for aufferiog animals owned by them to be at large in the atreeta.
OBSOI Mi LANGUAGE. Barbara Walter was charged with using obscene language in the street;. Fined 40s. and coats, or to suffer fourteen 'days 1 imprwonment. This concluded the business
