TESTIMONIAL TO MR. DE BURGH ADAMS. A MEETING of the Committee was held on Saturday, 21st instant, at the Mechanics' Institute, when the following gentlemen were proposed and added to the Committee :—: — Messrs. David Graham Samuel Cochrane Mark Somerville Jerome Cadman Dr. Goldsbro' • Morton Jones Captain Dinnin 1 Geo. Webster F. H. Lewisson, and I M. Lambert (Military Train). * fThe Committee resolved to subdivide the City and Suburbs of Auckland' into districts, and appoint Members of the Committee to collect subscriptions. It 'also resolved to form a Sub-Committee at Onehunga and Otahuhu,- and that the Hon. Secretary should request Messrs. Daniels and Hallimore of the ' former place, and Messrs. *Thos. Raggon and Gordon of the latter place, to take the necessary steps for accomplishing the objects of the Meeting. A vote of thanks to the Chairman terminated th« proceedings.
