Id. to Is. 24d. per lb. ; vestas, from 10a. 9d. to 11s. 3d. per gross ; chicory, 6£d. per lb. ; sardines, quartercases, 83. Messrs. McCaul and Bigg held a sale of groceries, &c, at their mart, Queen-street, to-day, and ob- j tamed the following pi ices :— Superior butter, 25.; Chilian flour, 195.; town-ground flour, 205.; tea, in boxes, 305. ; tea, in chests, 2s. s^d. per lb. ; sperm cndles, Is. 7d. ; Jeffrey's ale, in st^ne bottles, 12s. 9d. Messrs. Ridings and Pirston sold at their mart,, to-day, 28 cases oranges, at 7d. per dozen ; and 80 cases apples, at 4|d. per lb. Mr. S. Cochrane sold to-day, at the Commissariat stces, Princes-street, a quantity of condemned tobacco, at from 7£d. to lOd. per lb.
