TESTIMONIAL TO MR. DE BURGH ADAMS. A MEETING of the Committee was held on sStod»y,2lrt instant, at the Mechanics' Institute^when the following gentlemen proposed and added to the Committee:— Messrs. David Graham , r Samuel Cochrane MarkSomervill* . % . Jerome Cadman ' ? Dr. GoldeW Morton Jones Captain Dintiin Geo. Webster F. H. Lewisson, and M. Lambert (MiHtary Train). The Committee resolved to subdivide the City and Suburbs of Auckland into districts, and appoint Members of the Committee to collect ?^s«nptgn«. It also resolved to form a Sub-Committee at Une hungaand Otahuhu, and that the Hon. Secretary should request Messrs, Daniels and Hallimore of the former place, and Messrs. Thos. Raggon and Gordon^ of the latter place, to take the necessary steps for accomplishing the objects of the Meeting. A vote of &anks to the Chairman terminated the proceedings.
