Commissariat, Te Awamutu, February 13, 1866. rpENDERS, in duplicate, will be received at the 1 Commissariat Office, Te Awamutu, until Noon of MONDAY, tbe 26th instant, from persons willing to contract for the following Transport Service between tbe date demanded by the Commissariat and tbe 31st March, 1867 :— To and from any place within one~\ At per load mile of the Commissariat Stores, not exceeding Te Awamutu I one ton iv From Te Awamutu to Te Rore )■ weight. From Te Awamutu to Rangiawhia From Te Awamutu to Kihikihi I Return loads From Te Awamutu to Alexandra J free. Carts at per diem with driver (loads not to exceed one ton weight). . Each dray must be provided with sufficient ropes and tarpaulins. The drivers will be required to give all assistance in their power in loading and unloading carts. Each tender to state the number of carts to be at the call of the Commissariat, and the contractor will be held responsible for all losses and damaijes sustained by stores, &c. , during the time they are in his drays.
