DRURY. (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.)

February 20. The following came before C. Mellsop, Esq., R.M., »t the Court held iv Drury on Monday, the 19th instant : —

• MCOAPFEEY Y. ALEXANDER MINN. The defendant was charged, upon the information of the constable, with being drunk and disorderly in Papakura on the 9fch instant, and, pleading guilty, be was fined £1 and costs, with the alternative of 48 hours' imprisonment, and hard labour.

MCCAITERY Y. JOHN CROSBEB. This defendant also pleaded guilty to the same offence— same time and place — and was sentenced to the same punishment.

MCCAFFERT "Y. HUGH MCPHERSON. The defendant was charged with riotous conduct and disturbing the public peace at Papakura, on the 9th instant. He was convicted on the testimony ot the constable, and ordered to enter into Ins own security, by recognizance, in £25, to keep the peace for three months. , \f AINWBIOHT Y. CONNKLL. This was a case of assault, alleged to have been committed at Mr. George's hotel, Queen's Redoubt, on the 26th January. The informant did not appear, and the case wqb dismissed. The Bishop of New Zealand, in the absence of the Rev Mr. Lush at Raglan, took the services in these districts on Sunday last, holding services at the Queen's Redoubt, Bombay Settlement, Drury, and Papakura.
