Shipping business was suspended yesterday in conequenceof the general holiday observed on the occalion of our anniversary celebration. The cattle-ship Hydra came out of the Tamaki during the afternoon, and anchored off the North Head, ready to take her departure after clearing at the Customs. The P., N.Z., and A.R.M. Co.'» s.s. Prince Alfred, Captain Machin, leaves at noon to-day for Sydney.
