His dam, a superior mare, was got by Young A ctiye, the property of Mr. Thacker, of Oanwiok j his sire the property of the same, which took the prize at the Royal Agricultural Show, at Cambridge, and at a great many others. Champion Hero was bred in England, and was allowed by competent judges to be the best two-year-old colt shown at the renowned fair, Hornc&stle, Ho was carefully selected, at enormous expense, especially for the Antipodes, and can be safely recom-

mended as a sure and valuable stock-getter. Champion Heio Las been travelling in Australia (through Windsor, Richmond, and the neighbourhood), and it is a fact worthy of note that his stock are making more money than any other iv the colony of New South Wales.
