Considerable quantities pi wool liave arrived from the several runs, and the • Buby, schooner, increased the itook by 60 baits from the Kalkoras, consigned to Messrs Bothune and Hunter. The auction sale* held during the week h»vo been unimportant, and in no way show any alteration in prices A large quantity of coal has bien brought by the barque ' umoga' for tin N.Z.B.N. Co. during the week, and the only sale woitUy of note is in this commodity. On the 15th instant, Messrs Port, Young, and Co. offered the cwgo of Bellambl coal, ok ' Spray,' for public sale, 20 tons of which were purchased nt the rate of £1 per ton, the remainder of tho cargo being withdrawn.—" Independent."
