The flour trade throughout the week has 'exhibited mora animation f- files arc more easily effected, the m»rket is firm, and a large business done at full prices. Our last quotations aro still xuling, but judging from tlio goncral tono of the market, and the advices to hind from the Australian colonies, prices mint advance. Current rates are : — Best Canterbury, £20 ; Chilian, £21 to £22 : Adelaide, £25 ; bun has a slower sale at £8 ; sharps at £8 10s per ton The speculation in oats has entirely subsided. The demand during the week has bean limited ; still prices are firm at Cs for prim* fned. Hay is unchanged In valuo ; the supply continues equal to the demand, at £4 to £4 10s per ton delivered. Potatoes —This market has been somewhat relieved by a few shipments, which havo ssrvod to steady prices ; £3 to £3 103. may be quoted for prime eating samples. — " Lyttelton Times," November 10.
