Esk, Captain Luce, left Auckland on Wednesday, th« 11th October, and arrived at Wellington on the evening of th« 17th, blowing a freih gale Left 'Wellington on Thursday, tht 2nd November, and arrived at Napier on the evening of the 3rd. Saturday, the 4th, at 3 pin, weighed *nd proceeded under steam Mr. McLean, the Superintendent of Hawkt's Bay, and Mr. Cooper, were passengers on board. Sunday, the 6th, at 3p m , arrived at Wuiapu, and anchored. A boat came off, and reported all quiet on imore. Monday, the Cth, weighed and proceeded a few milei further up tin coast, near Morgan's place, and anchored Sir. McLean and Mr. Cooper landed. Tuesday, the 7th, arrived tht colonial iteamtr Sturt, from Poverty Bay, and anchored. At 3p m. weighed and proceeded to Tuparoa, and unohored. At, 830 p.m., weather looking dirty, woighod and stood out to sea, under easy sail. .Wednesday, the Bth, returned to Tuparoa, •nd anchored at 8a m. CutUrs employed embarking 250 of Morgan's men, three females, Morgan, his wife and Child, and two Hauhau prisoners At 7 15 weighed and proceeded under •team for Poverty Bay. Thursday, the 9th, at 0 »m., anchored in Poverty Bay, and landed Morgan and his party.
