His dam, a superior mare, was got by Young Active, the property of Mr. Thaoker, of Can wick ; his sire the property of the same, which took tho prize at the Royal Agricultural Show, at Cambiidge, aud at a great many others. Champion Hero was, bred in England, iaud was allowed by competent judges to be the best two-year-old colt shown at the renowned fair, Horncastle. He was can. fully selected, at enormous expense, especially for the Antipodes, and can be safely recommended as a sure and valuable stock-getter.
