The ' Otago arrived yesterday, from Otago, •« ith dates to October 2Gth, and 13,738 ounces of gold. It rained yesterday from six o'clock in the morning till four in the afternoon. Isaacs, the barrister, is returned for Yass. Flour it easier. The weather has cleared. The Government will bring forward au Educational Bill, and a bill to make Legislative Council •lective, if the public business permits. Mr Thomion, the late Secretary and Actuary of the Mutual Provident Society, is insolvent. Two vessels at Auckland brought 1,200 tons of breaditufft. Maize is still firmer, but the upward teudeney of breadstuff! is checked.
