Her Royal Highness the Princess Helena held a drawing room on May 18 at St. James's Palace, on behalf of her Majesty the Queen. The Prince of Wales held a lovCe at St. Jamcb's on May 20 on behalf of the Queen, which was attonded by an unusually large number of the rank and fashion now in London. Tho foreign ministers wore nearly all present, and there w.w a brilliant gathering of persons in all departments of the public service. Priuce Alfred has received tho Ordor of the Blood, Michain td Dem, from tho Bey of Tunis. It has never been given before to any one but a member of the Tunisian royal family. Prince Alfied has left England for Goimany to resume his studies at the University of Bonn. The Crown Prince of Denmark haj arrived in England on a visit to the royal family.
