In sporting circles the forthcoming Otahuhu race meeting is the great topic of interest. The best racers in tlio province have been entered for it, and several celebrated horses from the South are expected to compete. The meeting will bo on the 4th nu'd sth of April. Otherwise nothing has transpired during the month beyond a few friendly games of cricket bb e _ tweeu the We3t End Club, and Onehunga elevo Much credit is due to the members of these clubs v tlieir efforts to keep up the interest of the game dm 1 I 1C r one of the worst seasons Auoklnnd has experienced. o
