ARRIVAL OF THE ENGLISH MAIL,

The ' Claud Hamilton/ with more than her usual punctuality, arrived last night shortly before 12 o'clock, bringing the August English mail. She left Sydney on the morning of the 16th insfc , and, notwithstanding the rough weather experienced, she only lost one out of 91 horses shipped in Sydney for the Commissariat here. Owing to the late hour at 'nhich the mail arrived, our extracts from the English papers are necessarily limited ; but we have given such portions of the nesvs as we conceived would be most interesting to our readers.
