The commercial news fioin England, as contained in our telegram, is regarded as satisfactory ; and as there appears to be a considerable decrease in the shipments to tho colonies, prices of those articles which have declined considerably lately may bo expected to rpcQver in some degree. Tobacco and Chuus.— Tho principal business of tho week in tobacco has bsen an auction sale by Stokes, Craig, & Co., of some 200 boxes of Southern 10's and half-pounds, tho whole of which were readily disposed of at improved market rates. Dullness of trade prevents any wholesale transactions in cigars ; bulk of stoak held by one hoiiho.
