Diiver, Maclean, and Co.'s repoit tor the week endmg sth October : — The quantity of stock to hand during the week has been rather limited; aud prices lealued do not show any change in prices lately quoted. The following lots of stock have anired by sea ■ince our last repot t, viz. : — 1 Schah Jelnu,' from Twofold Bay, 209 head cattle, 430 sheep. '.Star of the South,' fiont JNe\\ castle, 80 head cattle. 'Oity of IS cvi castle,' fiom Newcastle, 100 sheep. Fat Cvttlc— We yarded late in the week 80 Lead, ex 'Schah Jehan' and 'Star ot the South' ; these cattle weie of medium quality, aud icalised from £13 to £26 10* The tunic is but niodei.Uely supplied with pnme quality beef, which \vt quote at 60s. to 63b. per lOOlbs. Fat Oalvks.— A few in ; very saleable at £4 toJXG, according to age and quality. Stoke (Jatixe coucmue in active demand : well bred bullocks, fioin 3 to 6 yeais old, aie piefeiicd, ■which aie saleable at fiom £12 to £14; Piovinci.il bred mixed heuls, at from A.IQ 10a. to £12 10-> Wu luve just lauded, ex 'Sehah Jehan," 100 head \eiy fine bullocks over 3 yeais old. Store Sheep. — Buyers continue plentiful, but aie unable to supply themselves the few lots ollenng are eagerly taken at full rates. We sold 400 f i oin paddocks near town at 27s Gd. We quote — ewes (iv lamb and wool) 2 to 6 tooth, at 33->. to .S7s. Gd. ; wethers (in wool) 4to S tooth, 275. Gd. to 32a. Imported ewes, 2to 6 tooth, dehveied after fchoainig, 275. to 2Ss. ; ditto wethers, 2.^ to 255.
