Te Moananui inviting Emopeans to search for Gold at Cape Colvillo. Moehau, Waiaro, Novembei 7, 1861. Trlend Mr. McLean, — Let the Europeans come quickly. When they artive, I will divide them nnd (some) natives to different places. Let there be fifty pakehos ; and when they have all gone into the bush, T will come up to the town, the governor then will be back. — From Mbha Te Moananui. To Mr. McLean, at Auckland. — ."
