To the Electors of the Suburbs of Auckland. f*\ ENTLEMEN, —A vacancy having occurred in the \JC Representation of the Suburbs of Auckland in the General Assembly, I have the honor to offer myself as a Candidate for your suffrages. x The necessity which caused my .return to this country, enforcing my residence in Auckland, I could not while the session was expected to be held elsewhere, accede to any invitation to fill either of the late vacancies. This difficulty being removed, I am now enabled to offer my services. Being deeply sensible of the great responsibility which the present crisis in the affairs of the colony must entail upon your Representatives, I shall- endeavour, should I be elected, to merit the confidence you will have reposed in me, by giving the most careful and dispassionate consideration to the important measures which have to be discussed. I have the honor to be Gentlemen, Your Obedient Servant, J. LOGAN CAMPBELL. Auckland, 26th July, 1860.
