At Messrs. Cheeseraan'a Sale of Live Stock at Newmarket on Tuesday last, the 31it ult. Cattle sold *t former prices ; but sheep were in advance of last week's rates. Fat Steers realized from £9 10s. to £10 65., not very prime. Sheep — a considerable number quitted at from 20s. to 255. 6d. Pigs at £2 9s. Mr. W. Hunter offered for Sale at Newmarket on Tuesday last a large supply of Cattle of all kinds, which all sold well. Beef was in good demand, and about 30 head sold at good prices. Store Cattle, manifested an upward tendency ; all the lots offered being well competed for, and sold at figures shewing a considerable advance upon the prices of the past few weeks. For Yearling^ the demand was greater than for older Cattle, and several lots sold from £8 9s. to £3 19s. Sheep were plentiful, and about 125 head sold at a stil further advance upon late prices. They sold in lots from 15/3 to 33/6, and Lambs from 7/3 to 12/0 each. Horses brought £10 10s, £8 15:, £34., and £2*5 each. Mr. Alfred Buckland reports at his sale held at Newmarket on Thursday, Feb. 2nd, a fair supply of Fat Cattle with the usual demand, and a slight advance was obtained over last week's prices. 36 head were disposed of.
