Friday, Oct. 29. . Chirles Kemmeth, charged with drunkenness, third offence, fined 10s. and costs, or imprisonment with hard labour. Samuel Merrick, charged by Zachariah' B arena with assault. Case dismissed. J. Merrick and Jamea Webb charged by Zachariah Barens for using threatening language towards him at Waiheki. Both Merrick and Webb were witnesses against complainant in the above case. Complainant said he should withdraw the case after hearing the swearing in the case of assault. Case withdrawn.
