Y&THEREAS a House, not occupied, sHuated at ' " the corner of Gray-street and Krewer-street, Auckland, known as the property of Mr. Michael Frederick lianlen, General Dealer of High-street, Auckland, was discovered to be on Fire on the J^sght of Wednesday the 11 tb instant, between 10 and 1 1 o'clock, under the most suspicious cireumstancps, and apparently through incendiarism, the above Reward will be paid by the undersigned to any party or parties affording sufficient information to obtain the apprehension and conviction of the incendiary or incendiaries. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By John Williamson, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland. TTNDER and in pursuance of the powers U vested in me in that behalf by the Regvlations issued on the 14th day of May, in the year 1856, by His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, for the disposal of the Waste Lands of the Crown within the Province of Auckland, in the said Colony, I hereby notify for general information, that all that portion of land known as the "Ruarangi" Block, in the District of Wangarei, containing 19,000 acres, which, is not set apart as Town, Suburban, or Rural Lands, or proclaimed as Credit Land, will be open for sale as Country Lands, at 10s. an acre, subject -$o the provisions in that behalf contained in the first-mentioned Regulations, on and after Monday, the twenty-first day of December next. Given under my hand at Auckland, in the said Province, the eighteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-seven. J. Williamson, Superintendent.
