TtESDAY, THE 26TH INSTANT, BEING HELD A8 TH« QUEEN'S BIRTH DAY, WILL BE CELEBKA.TED BY AN EVENING ASSEMBLEE IN THE NEW HAI/L OP THE INSTITUTE.

The programme will contain Vocal and Instrumental Music, Recitations. Appropriate Speeches, and conclude with Dancing. Refreshments will be provided. Tickets of admission — at half-a-crown — may be obtained at the Mechanics' Institute, 'New-Zealander' office, 'Southern Cross' office, and of Members of the Committee. James Boyle, Secretary.
