At Mr. Alfred Buckland's yards, at Newmarket, on Tuesday last, there was a good attendance of buyers and a full market of fat stock, on which late prices were fully maintained. The bidding, however, was spirited and the prices obtained showed that there was no dedine in the demand. Fat cattle maintained the standard price of the past few weeks. Store stock are still in demand, with an improved price for young hand fed cattle. Dairy cows of good quality are enquired for. A lot of store stock was disposed of at prices varying from £6 10s. to £5 7s. 6d. A lot of calves sold from £3 2s. 6d. to £2 17s. 6d. Young heifers brought from £8 10s. to £5 7s. 6d. Dairy cows brought £9 7s. 6d , £10, £13, and £15 10s. each.
